In biotechnology the focus is on using microorganisms for production of certain compounds

I have worked on a research project that was focused on production of biosurfactants using Pseudomonas Aeruginosa bacteria

I developed a bioreactor for the solid state fermentation of corn pulp with Pseudomonas Aeruginosa.

The produced biosurfactant was then extracted in a chloroform-methanol solution

I then optimized the process by changing the temperature, aeration rate, pH and moisture conditions of the system.
